Welcome:
Welcome to my webpage. I am a second-year graduate student in social psychology at The Ohio State University working with Dr. Rich Petty. I completed my undergraduate education at North Dakota State University working with Dr. Raymond Miltenberger.
In my undergraduate years I was involved in a couple of research projects. Some of them were focused on cognitive-behavior therapy to reduce problem behaviors in children, and my independent projects were aimed at assessing the effectiveness of sexual abuse prevention programs. Currently, I have a number of research interests but only a few of these interests have manifested themselves into research projects thus far.
Research Interests (some of which may or may not lead to future research):

Research Projects:
The effect(s) of involvement
on persuasion - If one is highly involved with a particular attitude object,
when presented with a persuasive message does it matter whether that attitude object is linked with the values or
goals they find important? We think not.
