I have always loved elderly people, and am currently a volunteer with HomeReach Hospice. I am a labrat at heart, but when I am not here, you may see me out salsa dancing.
Research
I have been working with Dr. Wenk since 2005. My primary interest is in diseases of aging. My focus in the lab is on Alzheimer's disease and the role that inflammation plays in contributing to the process. I am currently looking at the possible anti-inflammatory role of caffeine.
