Psychological Services Center The Ohio State University

The Psychological Services Center (PSC) at The Ohio State University provides psychological treatment for adults who are over the age of 18 and reside in the greater Columbus area. All of the services offered at the PSC are free of any charges and available to all adults in the Columbus area. We do not participate in any insurance panels and we never charge for our services.

Currently, we offer individual cognitive-behavioral therapy for anxiety and stress, mood disorders, behavioral medicine issues, personality disorders, and other related problems. The PSC is a training clinic for graduate students in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program at OSU. All of our therapists are advanced students, in their second year of training or above. Licensed clinical psychologists who are faculty members at The Ohio State University supervise all of our trainees. We employ state-of-the-art cognitive-behavioral therapy and related techniques in all of our individual and group therapy. These are empirically validated treatment techniques that are recommended by the National Institute of Health as the treatments of choice for anxiety, mood and personality disorders.

* The DBT clinic will not be accepting new clients before September 2015.

Following your initial inquiry, an intern will contact you by telephone to complete a screening questionnaire. You will be asked a number of questions that will help us to place you with the appropriate clinic and therapist.
