Psychological Services Center The Ohio State University

Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) Clinic

The CBT Clinic at the Psychological Services Center is our general adult treatment clinic. Our focus is on developing, training, and delivering state-of-the-art cognitive-behavioral therapy.

All clients will complete standardized diagnostic questionnaires to aid us in developing a treatment plan. Additionally, all therapy will begin with an initial clinical interview that will include a discussion of treatment goals and will include a thorough screen for psychological symptoms and current problems. We employ Cognitive-behavioral treatment methods that are designed to address a variety of mental health concerns, ranging from stress management to major depression, including anxiety attacks, and personality disorders. As a component of our treatment, we provide education about mental health issues and when appropriate make referrals for other mental health services.
